Modernizing Permitting and Environmental Review for the 21st Century: Insights from Presidential Innovation Fellows

The Presidential Innovation Fellows program has had incredible impact in driving innovation across the federal government. Jordan and Mahruq, former, and current Presidential Innovation Fellows, will be highlighting innovation in permitting and environmental review across federal agencies, and the key modernization initiatives within the permitting innovation team at the Council on Environmental Quality.  They will discuss the significance of the Presidential Memorandum on Updating Permitting Technology and the Permitting Technology Action Plan to drive permitting innovation and modernization across federal agencies. Furthermore, they will highlight some of the conceptual tools and technologies currently in the works to modernize permitting technology.
